Job description

Position Summary

Manage key leasing processes across multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role serves as a central point of contact for property teams and supports operational efficiency through standardized procedures. The Centralized Leasing Consultant will enhance the quality of our leasing prospect and applicant experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming leasing calls and respond to prospect inquiries for assigned properties (when transferred from Voice AI)
  • Manage leads and pipeline using CRM systems and Decron programs to boost customer engagement and retention.
  • Schedule property tours (agent-guided, self-guided, Tour24) and maintain accurate appointment records.
  • Handle all leasing activities up to point of tour, including initial inquiries, qualification, and follow-up communication.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of each community and apartments (pricing, availability, and unique selling points) within the assigned portfolio.
  • Seamlessly transition prospects to on-site teams for agent-guided tours, move-ins, and resident concerns.
  • Work towards and maintain target occupancy goals across assigned properties.
  • Verify ID, parking/ vehicles, pets, and various other rentable items prior to generating lease.
  • After tour, take over leasing process for application completion up to point of signed lease.
  • Travel between communities regularly to provide on-site leasing support.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
  • Collaborate with leasing managers and community managers to meet occupancy targets

Non-Essential Duties

  • Participating in team huddles
  • Participate in company training and professional development programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Proficient in property management software (i.e., Yardi, RealPage) and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing practices
  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned communities
  • Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior success in leasing or sales position. Preference for experience with centralized leasing.
  • Associate degree or higher in related field
  • Experience supporting multiple property sites

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role requires travel between multiple apartment communities.

  • Standard office setting with occasional travel to property sites
  • Uses standard office equipment and mobile devices
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Communicate with residents, prospects, applicants, and team members in person and electronically
  • May be exposed to various weather conditions during property visits
