Job description

Dog Daycare Attendant – $16/hr + Quick Raise Opportunity

We’re currently hiring for:

Weekdays: approximately 1:30 PM–7:00 PM
Weekends: Saturday & Sunday evenings, approximately 2:00 PM–7:00 PM

Starting pay: $16.00/hour

PLUS:

  • Paid training and shadow shifts
  • $0.25/hour immediate raise when training is successfully completed within your first 3 weeks

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on, active job working directly with dogs every day. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise dog playgroups and help keep play safe, structured, and fun
  • Learn canine behavior and body language so you can recognize what dogs are communicating
  • Feed dogs, provide fresh water and bedding, and follow individual care instructions
  • Maintain exceptionally clean kennels and play areas
  • Clean toys and dishes, mop, vacuum, and handle the occasional not-so-glamorous doggy mess
  • Follow established safety procedures and playgroup protocols
  • Communicate with teammates and pet parents
  • Notice potential problems and proactively address them
  • Help wherever needed to keep the center running smoothly

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need years of professional dog experience—we can teach the right person. We’re looking for someone who is:

Previous animal-care experience is preferred but not required.

This Is a Physical Job

You’ll be on your feet and moving for much of your shift. Candidates must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
