Job description

Lead the future of ambulatory surgical care at CentraCare!  CentraCare Surgery Center is seeking a dynamic, visionary leader to provide strategic direction and operational oversight for our growing ambulatory surgery center. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of perioperative services while leading an exciting expansion that will enhance access, efficiency, and the overall care experience for our patients and clinical teams. The leader in this role will drive strategy, operational performance, financial stewardship, and key quality and safety outcomes, while advancing a culture of high reliability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, relationship‑driven environment and brings a passion for operational excellence and people‑centered leadership. This role will partner closely with physicians, clinical leaders, and system stakeholders to implement forward‑looking strategies that support exceptional patient experiences, strong employee engagement, and regulatory excellence. Grounded in Family‑Centered Care principles and the CentraCare Operating System, this role is an opportunity for an experienced perioperative leader to make a visible, lasting impact while helping position our surgery center—and our teams—for continued growth and success.

Schedule:

  • Full-time | 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Monday-Friday | typically between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Onsite position | St. Cloud MN | CentraCare Plaza 


Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay begins at $139,734.40 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Salary range:   $139,734.40 - 209,539.20 per year
    • Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate.
  • Full time benefits eligible
  • Retirement with matching, up to 7.5%


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in nursing required. 
    • Master’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred.
  • Current RN license in the State of Minnesota required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of perioperative experience in an ambulatory surgery setting required. 
  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated management skills including leadership, communication, team building, organization, goal setting, problem solving, and continuous quality improvement are essential.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) – current American Heart Association (AHA) healthcare provider card required.
