Job Description
Schedule:
Will work Sunday to Friday 4pm to 2am or later, with a rotating schedule. Open availability required with some mandatory overtime as needed.
The Role:
Pick daily customer orders, checking for quality and checking with suggested substitutions if product is not available. Unload and put away product from inbound loads in the correct coolers down stacking and organizing the product as needed. Help repack product as needed and run product to insure the best quality product is being sent to customers.
Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To:
  • Place orders on pallets with special consideration given to maximizing product care, taking into account wet vs. dry goods and proper stacking to ensure safe transport and delivery to customer.
  • Stage completed pallets in loading area.
  • Load trucks as determined by delivery schedule.
  • Pick short sheets as assigned.
  • Complete necessary paperwork of items put away.
  • Maintain warehouse and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Desired Minimum Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.
  • Must have basic math comprehension skills.
  • Must be safety minded.
  • Must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Must comply with Physical Demands of Order Selector-see second page.
  • Ability to work on your own with a detailed list of tasks to accomplish during shift.
  • 6 months to 1 year of prior warehouse work experience.

Supervision Exercised: This position will not supervise employees.
Tools and Equipment Used: Electric pallet jack (center rider type), gloves, slip resistant work boots.
Other Factors: Below normal temperatures as part of the job: Worker is exposed to temperatures of 34-37 degrees throughout shift.
Work Environment:
  • Occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and extreme cold (non-weather).
  • Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather).
