Child care worker in the Melissa ISD daycare center / early childhood classrooms.
Job Qualifications
Education/Certification:



  • High school diploma or GED


Special Knowledge / Skills

  • Ability to work with children
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively


Duties and Responsibilities
Instructional Support
1. Help teacher .
2. Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
Student Management
3. Help manage behavior of students. 
4. Work with individual students or small groups to develop motor skills and conduct instructional exercises assigned by teacher.
5. Help supervise students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom.
Other
6. Maintain confidentiality.

9. Maintain emotional control under stress.
10. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling

Required Experience

Salary
$26,695 to $33,500    commensurate with experience;
$225 per month district contribution toward health insurance;
$20,000 district paid life insurance policy
