Job description

What We’re Looking For:

  • Willingness to perform physical labor and handle landscaping tasks
  • Commitment to professionalism and respect in a cemetery setting
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping equipment and machinery operation
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Mandatory 40 hours per week with required weekends in May

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform all functions related to groundskeeping, landscaping, and burial services
  • Follow procedures for the safe, efficient, and accurate execution of duties

Specific Duties Include:

  • Memorial placement and maintenance
  • Landscaping, building, and feature maintenance
  • Property maintenance and beautification
  • Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Safe and proper use of supplies and equipment, including basic maintenance and repairs
  • Working effectively as a team with various crew members
  • Following all company safety procedures and equipment operation guidelines

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds above chest level

  • Position may require ability to climb on occasion
