This posting is for a Senior Cement Supervisor for NexTier based out of Weatherford, Oklahoma
Detailed Description:
  • Performs Field Manager duties when necessary.
  • Supervises all cement jobs and provides leadership to all supervisors and equipment operators.
  • Gathers evidence and participates in job investigations.
  • Coordinates and assists with rigging up and down of service line equipment on location.
  • Coaches and oversees the cleaning of equipment after each job to prepare for the next.
  • Manages processes and interfaces with customers to ensure job site execution aligns with design.
  • Follows up with customers regarding job site performance and assesses risks, contacting supervisors as needed.
  • Promotes and actively participates in the Service Quality process.
  • Coaches and performs calculations necessary for job execution at the well site.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with services performed.
  • Evaluates individual performance levels of crews and trains supervisors to improve job outcomes.
  • Complies with all company and client Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices and guidelines.
  • Leads safety meetings, hazard hunts, and ensures Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) are followed.
  • Completes post-job paperwork and ensures proper documentation of operations.
  • Reports and corrects unsafe acts, conditions, or hazards immediately, implementing corrective actions from investigations.
  • Conducts employee assessments and participates in all company-provided training.
  • Inspects and maintains equipment, ensuring readiness and compliance with treatment requirements.
  • Completes other duties, special assignments, and projects as required.
  • Ensures proper personal protective equipment (PPE) use and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of and compliance with DOT rules and regulations.
  • Understanding of company policies, HSE standards, and departmental guidelines.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining bulk equipment, high-pressure mixing pumps, blenders, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Ability to perform Field Manager duties and supervise cement job execution.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills for crew members and supervisors.
  • Knowledge of post-job paperwork and ability to complete field job documentation.
  • Proficiency in cement job calculations, verifying blend sheets, and lab reports.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and employees.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in mathematical calculations.

Language Comprehension:
Must understand and speak English at a level sufficient to issue, receive, and respond to both safety and operations-related directions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 5-10 years.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid Driver's License or Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
