Job Summary

The Volumetric Mixer Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining a mobile concrete mixer truck to deliver and mix concrete on-site according to customer specifications. The role involves driving the truck, calibrating and operating the mixer, loading materials, and ensuring quality control while complying with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Volumetric Mixer:Safely drive and operate a volumetric concrete mixer truck to deliver and mix concrete on-site.

  • Concrete Mixing:Calibrate and operate the mixer to produce the correct consistency, quantity, and mix design.

  • Loading Materials:Load aggregate, sand, cement, water, and admixtures into the mixer as required.

  • Site Preparation:Assess job sites for safe and efficient truck positioning and setup.

  • Safety Compliance:Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use, and ensure safe handling of materials.

  • Equipment Maintenance:Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections (fluid levels, tire pressure, mixer components) and preventive maintenance.
