Job description

Maintenance Supervisor – Maryneal, TX

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a cement manufacturing plant in Maryneal, TX. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and will play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing maintenance costs, and coordinating corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities throughout the plant.

The Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with maintenance and operations personnel to plan repairs, support shutdowns, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help ensure reliable operation of critical cement manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities and assigned corrective maintenance projects.
  • Drive efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Support and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Plan and coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with planning and execution of plant shutdown repairs.
  • Coordinate assigned capital projects and ensure work is completed safely and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, equipment drawings, and schematics.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and plant operations to prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Support continuous improvement of plant maintenance practices and equipment performance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two-year degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in maintenance within cement, lime, aggregates, mining, or other heavy industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong mechanical maintenance and equipment troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Experience with preventive and/or predictive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify equipment problems and implement corrective measures.
  • Experience supporting shutdowns, major repairs, and capital projects is preferred.
