Job description

Position Title: Commercial Building Cleaner

Reports To: Account Manager(AM)

Basic Function : Ensure the accounts they are assigned to are being cleaned according to specifications.

Major Responsibilities

  • Clean independently in assigned building and areas.
  • General cleaning and detail cleaning of INDUSTRIAL setting such as restrooms, break rooms, coffee bars, kitchenettes, offices, conference rooms, common areas, stairwells, pull trash, etc.
  • Clean within budgeted hours.
  • Report concerns to AM. (example: maintenance, safety issues, needs)
  • Follow safety procedures such as but not limited to, wearing safety googles, steel toe shoes, safety vest, proper chemical use, etc
  • Clock in and out on job site using personal cell phone with precise location and be able to actively monitor cleaning app to resolve customer issues put in system
  • Ability to restock necessary supplies and communicate with AM on needs such as chemicals, supplies, equipment
  • Keep equipment in good repair
  • Keep janitorial closets and spaces stocked, neat, and organized
  • Maintain site confidentiality and follow safety standards
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime if needed upon occasion as well as flexibility to work outside of regular work hours
  • Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities. To ensure meeting company and customer standards
  • Must possess good customer service skills. This is a customer facing role that requires ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
