Job description

Tropical Escape Vacation Homes is looking for a Bilingual Team Member to join our growing staff. Located in the heart of ChampionsGate, FL we specialize in resort style vacation homes.

The Guest Services Quality Control Inspector is responsible for pre arrival home evaluations and health and safety checks and as well as guest services support via phone, email, and in-person. 

The duties and responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector are described as below but are not limited to:

  • Insure home is arrival ready
  • Assist with inventory, tracking, and audits of homes
  • Work with housekeeping team to resolve any clean issues
  • Work with maintenance team to report damages
  • Install or remove items from home as needed
  • Report items that are damaged or missing and replace when able
  • Assist with furniture repositioning and home staging
  • Check functionality of home appliances
  • Occasionally complete or assist with touch-up cleans
  • Communicate and work with contracted cleaning teams
  • Maintain linen and amenity supplies
  • Spend part of the day in Guest Services
    • responding to emails
    • answering phone calls
    • responding to texts
    • sending reports
    • on-call after hours assistance

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Bilingual (English with Spanish, and or Portuguese Preferred)
  • Previous experience in customer service, housekeeping, hospitality quality control, or other related fields preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Computer/Tablet/Cell Phone proficient
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
