Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager to join our Asset Assurance Team.
As a Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of technical inspectors delivering technical inspections for a large portfolio of retail and warehouse facilities.
This is a fixed salary position
Role description:
  • The project program involves conducting and managing annual asset inspections at major national retail stores to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Key, responsibilities of this program include inspections, documenting findings, preparing comprehensive reports, and collaborating with store managers and regional manager teams to address deficiencies.
  • The extended Project Manager, responsibilities include, training, scheduling, quality control management, staff development, performance control / reporting and client liaison.
  • Required qualifications include previous experience in facility or technical inspections, and team leadership. A strong knowledge of safety standards, excellent observational skills, and a valid driver's license.

Key role accountabilities:
  • Liaise with client counterparts to ensure firm understanding of evolving client expectation.
  • Coordination of efficient scheduling for inspection deliverables, in accordance with client requirements.
  • Conduct, supervise and manage annual inspections.
  • Supervise preparation of / prepare comprehensive reports outlining any identified issues, compliance status, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identification of key information sources and collection relevant data to support project delivery.
  • Analysis of data to uncover insights that will inform the design / delivery of consulting solutions and development of future sales proposals.
  • Collaborate with store managers and regional managers to address identified deficiencies and provide guidance actions to be taken.
  • Ownership of internal quality control process delivering optimized client experience.
  • Presentation of outcomes and analysis at team meetings to ensure the insights gained are clearly communicated and to propose ways in which these may be leveraged to add value.
  • Responsibility for economic delivery of services, in accordance with approved project financials.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices related to inspections.
  • Utilizing digital tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of inspections and reporting processes.
  • Develop understanding of the services delivered by Arcadis and of client businesses and acting independently to guide and drive team performance improvement and client relationship development
  • Exercise independent judgement on significant project related matters
  • Provide lead input into team hiring decisions

Qualifications & experience:
  • Previous experience leading regional or national teams.
  • Previous experience and advanced knowledge as a Facility Inspector or a related role.
  • Good working knowledge of retail safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent observational and analytical skills to identify potential hazards and deficiencies.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage travel schedules and inspection priorities.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and technologies for inspections and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and regularly, including in-state and out of state.
  • Expertise in facility condition assessment areas such as structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and building systems is a plus.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
