McKesson's Third Party Logistics (3PL) organization within CoverMyMeds is seeking a Director, Account Management - Cell & Gene Therapy (C>) to lead our Cell & Gene Therapy Center of Excellence (COE). This role sits at the forefront of one of the most transformative areas in healthcare-supporting advanced therapies that have the potential to cure or significantly alter the course of disease.

This leader is accountable for strategy, execution, and financial performance across a portfolio of advanced therapy clients, including ownership of renewals, contracting, pricing strategy and P&L performance.

You will translate McKesson's enterprise capabilities into scalable, compliant cell and gene therapy logistics solutions, ensuring alignment with evolving market demands. This position plays a critical role in advancing McKesson's leadership in pharmaceutical logistics and specialty distribution while enhancing client, partner, and patient outcomes.

Approximately 20% travel is required.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Lead and develop a highperforming Account Management team supporting Cell & Gene manufacturer clients and downstream provider customers

  • Own the strategy, operating model, governance, and results of the Cell & Gene Therapy Center of Excellence within McKesson 3PL

  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for InspiroGene, ensuring seamless coordination between frontstage client engagement and backstage 3PL execution

  • Act as executive sponsor for key manufacturer accounts, building deep understanding of client programs, financials, and growth objectives

  • Drive portfolio growth, retention, renewals, contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and margin performance

  • Hold P&L accountability for the Cell & Gene account portfolio, including forecasting and financial performance management

  • Translate evolving Cell & Gene market needs into scalable, compliant logistics solutions

  • Partner crossfunctionally with Operations, Distribution Centers, Quality, Regulatory, IT, Finance, Legal, Credit, Inventory, and Project Management teams

  • Establish and monitor KPIs and standardized reporting to ensure strong execution, transparency, and client satisfaction

  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and scalability

  • Leverage data and market insights to balance growth, risk, and operational readiness

  • Represent 3PL in executivelevel client presentations, QBRs, RFPs, and growth initiatives

Basic Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience, and typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience

  • Experience leading account management or clientfacing teams supporting complex, highprofile customers

  • Demonstrated experience with contract negotiation, renewals, and commercial execution

  • Strong financial acumen, including pricing strategy, forecasting, and margin management

  • Proven ability to lead crossfunctionally in a matrixed organization

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage executivelevel stakeholders

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in healthcare account management environments (pharma, biopharma, specialty distribution, or services)

  • Cell & Gene Therapy or advanced therapy experience (highly preferred, but not required)

  • ThirdParty Logistics (3PL), pharmaceutical logistics, specialty pharmacy, PBM, or payer experience

  • Experience operating in highly regulated environments (quality, regulatory, compliance)

  • Demonstrated execution mindset with a track record of "getting things done" in complex environments

  • High emotional intelligence and relationshipdriven leadership style

  • ERP experience (SAP strongly preferred)

  • Lean / Six Sigma and/or PMP certification

  • Experience supporting sales, account growth, or new business development

Work Location, Travel & Physical Requirements:

  • Remote role, with preference for proximity to Columbus, OH or another McKesson hub location

  • Candidates located east of the Mississippi preferred due to client timezone alignment

  • Travel: Approximately 20% (client meetings, QBRs, internal team sessions, and RFPs)

  • Standard office/remote work environment with occasional onsite visits to operational or client locations
