Motorcoach Operator | Tour Bus Driver

Timi's Tours

Moweaqua, IL

$250/day

Part-time

Medical, Retirement, PTO

Re-posted 8 days ago

Job description

You've earned your CDL. Now put it to work somewhere worth driving.

At Timi's Tours, our Motorcoach Operators don't just move people from point A to point B, they're the reason guests come back. You'll travel to premier destinations across the country, represent a company that's genuinely proud of its team, and do it all behind the wheel of a modern, well-maintained coach.

We're a small, family-owned operation, and that means you're never just a driver number. Management knows your name, dispatch has your back 24/7/365, and when you need time at home, we work with you to make it happen.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll operate luxury motorcoaches on a wide variety of runs, including:

  • Airport transfers and corporate travel
  • Day tours and multi-day excursions
  • Sports team transportation (collegiate, minor league, and high school)
  • Weddings, private charters, and special events

Every trip is different. That variety is part of what makes this job worth doing.

The Equipment

We operate a modern, late-model fleet; clean, safe, and well-maintained, every time. We take pride in what we put on the road, and we expect our operators to as well.

Our fleet:

Full-size: Prevost H3-45, Prevost X3-45, and MCI J4500
Mid-size: MCI J3500
Mini-coach: Temsa TS30

Our average fleet age is 2.5 years. We maintain every unit at our own in-house shops, and when something goes wrong on the road, our maintenance team is available 24/7; including mobile road service trucks that come to you.

You won't be stranded, and you won't be handed keys to something you're embarrassed to pull up in.

Schedule & Availability

Full-Time operators typically work 3-4 days per week, with the opportunity to pick up more when you want it.

Part-Time operators have the flexibility to accept or decline trips with no penalty. Work when it fits your life.

Live outside the area? Ask us about commuter benefits. We recruit the best regardless of where home base is.

Pay

Base pay: $250 per day. Consistent and competitive; no "up to" gimmicks here.

Safety bonus: $25 per day worked, paid quarterly.

Per diem, loaded to an instant debit card:

Day trip $25 per day Multi-day trip $50 per day Pre-night / post-night, under 4 hours $12.50 Pre-night / post-night, over 4 hours $25 Actual trip training day $25 per day

Also included:

  • Gratuities
  • Hotel accommodations provided on all overnight runs

A typical day trip runs $300 in combined base pay, safety bonus, and per diem. A multi-day trip runs $325 per day, with hotel expenses covered.

Paid bi-weekly by direct deposit.

Drive Your Level Up

Whether you join us full-time or part-time, you start at Emerald, which includes:
