• At least 1-2 years experience in the jewelry industry

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise the fabrication of jewelry from start to finish.
• Quality control during each step of the process. Inspects products for defects and quality issues.
• Communicate and facilitate orders with overseas factories
• Product Development: Research & Development of Trends, Analysis and Merchandising
• Assist in creating merchandise mix for trunk/trade shows, sales meet, publicity efforts, celebrity placements, editorials and sales representative's product lines
• Coordinate with Marketing/PR team on all MEMOs to celebrities, publicists, stylists and etc...
• Facilitates quality assurance and lead times for production.
• Formulate an annual Production timetable
• Coordinate all pending merchandise with the vendors
• Vendor invoice/ packing slip reconciliation
• Supports the division in managing product lines from completion to inventory
• Maintains style and item number generation
• Answers questions regarding order & memo status of various accounts and attend to problems or complaints from customers on the phone or by written correspondence
• Prepares weekly production reports, vendor jobs back-order list and customer back-order list
• Assists customers with returns and special orders
• Order processing: sales quotes, sales orders, invoices and memos
• Shipping, receiving and processing of new and return merchandise
• Furnishes shipping and tracking information to retail customers and sales executives as required
• Maintains a good working relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work-orders, repairs, invoices and shipments in a courteous and efficient manner
• Assist the executives in various duties
• Performs all other functions as required by the department
