Job Description

As a Researcher, you will work directly with Associate Producers, Producers and Senior Producers to develop and execute daily segments with a strong focus on pop culture, celebrity interviews, human interest and lifestyle content.
Responsibilities:

  • Pitch, develop, and assist with original segments centered on pop culture, celebrity news, human interest, topical conversations and lifestyle content.
  • Collaborate with the team on all aspects of production, including prepping elements, coordinating props, negotiating shoot logistics, supporting edit sessions and composing research packets.
  • Brainstorm fresh and creative content.
  • Work with Legal & Standards and Rights & Clearances to ensure editorial standards and licensing of all content prior to air.
  • Manage all SOTS & b-roll elements cut for the show on a rotational basis.
  • Assist with securing segment giveaways and prizes
  • Backfill Graphics Coordinator, Production Assistant, and Executive Assistant roles
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working in production at the network or syndication level
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short notice
