Job description

Responsibilities include:
  1. Monitor, support, and enforce all safety rules and regulations of the Company and OSHA standards.
  2. Conform, support, and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  3. Direct and supervise a trade crew on a consistent basis and frequently direct up to 30 employees and supervise multiple trades.
  4. Discuss and analyze trade of work with Superintendent and attain goals for project scope.
  5. Communicate staffing requirements to Production Manager.
  6. Participate in the pre-planning process in preparation for goals meetings.
  7. Ensure the job is properly staffed.
  8. Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked, and labor dollars and take appropriate action to achieve goals.
  9. Enter daily time and production through E&K Austin lane entry.
  10. Create job specific QA tasks identified during job start process.
  11. Perform routine QA inspections and create report through Go Canvas App.
  12. Generate material orders by specific areas.
  13. Manage job cost through review and analyzation of job cost monitoring report.
  14. Monthly forecasting of job cost.
  15. Management of Subcontractors.
  16. Ensure that all materials, tools, equipment, subcontractor, and general contractor are scheduled daily and are on site in a timely manner.
  17. Arrive at work on time at various locations.
  18. Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
  19. Attend all job site meetings whenever scheduled.
  20. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements include:
  1. Completed 30hr OSHA Training.
  2. Completed Field Management Training
  3. Ability to effectively manage crews of 30+ employees.
  4. Completed advance Computer Bluebeam Training.
  5. Knowledge of Company safety policies and applicable OSHA standards.
  6. Knowledge and ability to supervise the use of all tools, material, equipment, and personnel.
  7. Knowledge of mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction, and decimals.
  8. Skill in verbal and written communication, including the ability to actively listen and express oneself clearly.
  9. Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, and/or stilts.
  10. Ability to read detailed (blueprint) plans and specification and comply with building codes.
  11. Ability to enter employee time and footages through E&K Austin lane time entry App.
  12. Ability to read job specific Change Documents (ASI, RFP, Etc.)
  13. Ability to write an effective RFI.
  14. Knowledge and understanding of the E&K job start information.
  15. Ability to order job materials utilizing the plans and E&K stocking reports.
  16. Ability to perform the E&K Job Q/A process
  17. Ability to effectively use the documents on the E&K Go Canvas App.
  18. Ability to effectively perform and document Time and Material work through E&K T&M process.
  19. Ability to effectively read and understand an E&K job monitoring report.
