Founded in 1957, Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is one of the largest privately held electrical distributors in the United States. Our Hollywood location is a fast-paced, growing operation with a team that takes pride in serving customers, solving problems, and getting things done.



We’re looking for someone with energy, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a great attitude who wants the opportunity to learn the electrical distribution business and build a long-term career.

Electrical experience is a plus, but it isn’t everything. We are willing to train the right person.



What You’ll Do:


No two days are exactly the same. You’ll work closely with our sales, warehouse, delivery, and customer teams to keep orders and material moving.

Responsibilities include:

  • Helping electricians, contractors, estimators, and customers with orders, quotes, and project needs
  • Assisting customers with bid opportunities and helping our team win business
  • Receiving and organizing incoming material
  • Identifying customer-owned or special-order material and proactively contacting customers by phone or text
  • Coordinating will-call orders and deliveries
  • Pulling and preparing customer orders
  • Cutting wire and handling electrical materials
  • Troubleshooting order, material, and customer-service issues
  • Working with the entire CED Hollywood team to keep the operation running efficiently
