CE Maintenance SupervisorWright Patterson
SUMMARY: Under direct supervision of the Program Manager. Performs primary oversight of technicians and other personnel in a site/shop/lab. Position requires management and technical expertise across all spectrums of personnel, equipment, and subcontractors provided by this contract. Ensure lab personnel maintain environmental, health, and safety standards set by government and state agencies/regulations. Schedule current and future work plan to ensure CE resources are utilized to support contract requirements in timely and economical manner. Prepare presentations, attend meetings, conduct briefings, and provide analytical data as required. Supervise lab workforce
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 10 years' experience mechanical / electrical facilities maintenance is required. Minimum 5 years' experience as supervisor, technical lead, or foreman. Must demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities gained through training and/or experience to perform the duties described above. High School graduate or equivalent. Must have knowledgeable of government, state and environmental regulations. Knowledgeable of Civil Engineering disciplines to include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and procurement. Ability to identify areas requiring immediate attention and apply comprehensive technical knowledge and practical skill to solve complex problems. Ability to use good judgment and common sense when performing job functions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure work accomplished is in compliance with government regulations and all building codes. Identify training requirements, maintain current and historical documentation. Support contract safety and quality control programs. Complete CE contract CDRL's accurately and in a timely manner. Provide technical data for CAR and contract modification proposals. Provide data to PM/QSM for updates on lab work performance. Responsible for the operation and proper maintenance documentation of CE general/special purpose vehicles. Prepare for and participate in various site exercises, inspections, and activities. Ensure all permits are maintained and in compliance of contract requirements. Provide lab supervision, direction, and assistance to ensure professional work completion and customer satisfaction.
- First line supervisor for all contract personnel in a site/shop/lab. Manages site/shop/lab personnel and operations.
- Schedules work with the Lab COR, distributes work to all team members, and oversees work tasks to ensure contract fulfillment.
- Plans and executes maintenance and repair activities of assigned craftsmen.
- Oversees sub-contracted services and provides quality control of sub-contracted services.
- Communicates regularly with Lab COR and CE COR. Provides status of Work Requests, materials orders, and PM.
- Ensures compliance with contract-specific requirements.
- Chief point of contact regarding all systems (multidisciplinary) covered under contract for each lab, with complete knowledge of operations and thorough understanding of as-designed building system parameters.
- Local quality control representative to ensure work performed meets or exceeds contract requirements.
- Makes recommendations about design and operational improvements to equipment or systems covered under contract.
- Utilizes safety Practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS :
Must maintain a valid Ohio Drivers License. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Government facilities through Government background and badging processes.
