Full job description
Mathnasium is a math-only supplementary learning center that teaches kids math in a way that makes sense to them. Using the proprietary Mathnasium Method with individual curriculum and specific teaching constructs, we offer customized learning plans for each student to help students whether they are far behind or already ahead in math. A Mathnasium center in the Lake Forest area is currently seeking an Associate Center Director to help oversee center operations, work with students and parents, and manage a team of Instructors.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial, and organizational skills to successfully operate a learning center through sales, instructional leadership, parent communication, staff management, and effective administration. With intense training, the Associate Center Director must be able to perform Center Director duties and become a Center Director within a few months.
A partial list of responsibilities includes:


  • Present a polished and compelling sales message to parents that results in student enrollment
  • Administer Mathnasium curriculum through student assessment and diagnosis, development of learning plans, and documentation of progress.
  • Manage student learning environment and daily session activities
  • Manage a team of Instructors to deliver instruction that aligns with Mathnasium methodology
  • Communicate regularly with parents
  • Provide superior customer service that results in student retention
