Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Utica Park Clinic, founded in 1982, is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 300 employed physicians and advance practice providers representing more than 30 specialties across 82 sites in Oklahoma, serving 21 communities.
  • The clinical dietitian is a registered dietitian responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient progress toward nutrition goals.
  • This position educates patients individually and in group settings on behaviors and lifestyle changes that impact long-term eating habits, diabetes, self-management and overall health.
  • The dietitian will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to assist with including but not limited to, prediabetes, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes and weight management.
  • Recommends changes in therapy and monitors patient’s responses to changes in medication regime, exercise plan or meal plan and reports to physician.
  • Collaborates with other staff to provide education and self-management training in a clinically appropriate manner, as described in the department’s policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or nursing.
  • Must possess current Oklahoma state licensure as a Licensed Dietitian
  • RD from the CDR required
