Description

Your Role:


Responsible for managing theglobalproduct/serviceportfolioas well asfor developing the strategies and driving the execution of key activities that will enable the achievement of North American revenue targets. Which includes the development of specific marketing plans and activities for specific product/ service areas to establish, enhance or distinguish placement within the competitive arena as well as the identification, development, and maintenance of key account customer relationships.



  • Oversee, manage, and drive revenue and portfolio targets by developing strategic business plans and positioning products effectively in the marketplace.

  • Develop pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share in the field experience (sales support).

  • Evaluate new product opportunities, develop business cases, and funnel into the development pipeline.

  • Lead cross-functional teams/groups, to drive product development and improvement. Develop strategic and tactical marketing strategies.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with strategic key accounts following customer-relationship-management plans.

  • Develop pre-launch and launch plans for new products for North America and drive launch plans in other regions.

  • Develop rolling sales forecasts for new and current products.

  • Work with multiple internal departments to manage all aspects of the portfolio (new product development, positioning, pricing, product launch plans and execution, manage current portfolio, etc.).

  • Develop and ensure implementation of “how to sell” guidelines for sales representatives, including product rationale, positioning, competitive overview, companion products, etc.

  • Develop, organize and implement strategic regional territory plans.

  • Maintain high level of office, global and regional interaction necessary to effectively develop sales opportunities.

  • Develop tactics, tools, logistics, campaigns, basic messaging and positioning to support sales and revenue objectives of organization.

  • Perform market research, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs.

  • Represent the company on accompanied visits to accounts (e.g. TSC, District or Regional Manager, and BD colleagues,) in order to support field activities or to solicit feedback on company products and services.

  • Coordinate and participate in strategic discussions/activities.

  • Actively participate in presentations and discussions during Global and Regional Meetings.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree from a four‑year university in life sciences;A minimum of 8 years of product line marketing experience with at least 3 years’ marketing service for a life science or CDMO organization.

  • Domestic Travel Requirements–Up to40%; International Travel Requirements–Up to10% to attend annual global meetings


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:



  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, evidence of insurance/insurability, ability to receive appropriate clearance to access restricted government accounts, and be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Ability to operate a computer with Windows™ operating system, Outlook™ email, Maximizer or other CRM databases, internet, and basic MS Office™ products.

The hiring range for this position is expected to fall between $147,581 - $173,565/year, reflecting the range candidates can reasonably expect to be considered for at time of offer, based on factors such as experience, internal equity, and qualifications.


The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of considerations, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.


In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions may also be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
