In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting fuel across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with, all federal, state, local and company rules and regulations.
  • Safely operate vehicle on unpredictable Montana roads
  • Load and unload fuel shipments accurately, following all safety protocols.
  • Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and compliance with transportation standards.
  • Maintain detailed logs of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery records, and route documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatching personnel to coordinate loading and delivery.
  • Handle hazardous materials with precision and care at all times.


Qualifications

  • Valid class A commercial driver’s license (CDL), endorsements for hazmat, tankers and doubles/triples.
  • Must be able to pass background check, DOT physical, drug test and driving test
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years CDL experience, with a clean driving record, and experience operating a manual transmission.
  • Strong knowledge of route driving, loading & unloading procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits and adherence to traffic laws.
  • Strong work ethic


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors frequently throughout a shift: standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, pulling, pushing, and reaching.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50-100 lbs.
  • Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions
