Description:  The CDL transport driver is responsible for assisting our recovery team in transporting vehicles various locations.  The position consists of operating a  4 car rollback transport truck (straight truck) or a Semi and 7 car trailer combination.  All trucks are automatic.


Qualifications:


* Valid Indiana CDL 

* At least 23 years of age and a clean Motor Vehicle driving history

* DOT medical card or able to obtain one

* Reliable transportation

* Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

* Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision

* Strong attention to detail; goal oriented

* Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment

* Commitment to excellent customer service

* Overtime may be required throughout the year

* Shifts and/or schedules may change as directed by management and business needs

* Preferred proficiency in current technology

* Able to problem solve and determine solutions to issues as they arise

* Must be able to work in all weather conditions

* Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

* Preferred knowledge of vehicles


Job Duties:


*  Load and unload various types of vehicles onto and off truck

*  Transport units to various auctions and dealerships as requested

*  Properly strap units down in appropriate areas

*  Complete paperwork for each unit transported as required by company and auction

*  All other duties as required
