Job description

Step into a Day Moving Big Machines

Work Monday through Friday on 1st Shift, joining a crew that relocates, installs, and repairs industrial equipment. You’ll blend short local hauls with hands-on rigging and precision moves—work that rewards skill, coordination, and safety.

Work mix: 5% Driving, 95% Dismantling, relocating, installing, and repairs of industrial equipment and machinery onsite.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate semi tractors and trailers safely to move equipment and materials for each project.
  • Load, unload, lift, and position machinery using proven rigging techniques.
  • Support dismantling, relocation, installation, and repair of industrial machinery.
  • Coordinate closely with teammates to sequence tasks and maintain safe operations.
  • Run forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for material handling.
  • Comply with DOT regulations, company policies, and established safety practices.
  • Care for tools and vehicles; report mechanical or safety issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Current DOT physical certification.
  • Minimum age of 21 (insurance requirement).
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Thorough understanding of load securement and safe material handling.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on proficiency with hand tools, pallet jacks, dollies, welders, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Capable of physically demanding work, including lifting heavy components safely.
Experience
  • At least 2 years of CDL driving and rigging experience.
  • Background in machinery moving, industrial installation, or heavy-haul is preferred.
Proficiencies
  • DOT medical compliance and current CDL.
  • Truck operations, inspections, and load securement to DOT standards.
  • Forklift operation (licensed) and crane operation familiarity.
  • Equipment troubleshooting and installation.
  • Field service readiness and ability to meet physical demands.
