Job description

We are seeking a Class A CDL driver. You will be in charge of picking up and delivering heavy equipment to clients. The ideal applicant will have good communication and time management abilities, as well as a strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience and some heavy-haul driving experience.


We understand this is like finding a needle in a haystack, and we will take our time to find the right person if needed. A valid CLASS A commercial driver's license (CDL), with hazmat and tanker Endorsements preferred, and a clean driving record are required for this position. Apply today if this describes you! Compensation Based on Experience. Bilingual a plus/must speak and understand English.


Compensation:

$85,000- $130,000 yearly

Compensation:

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for loading heavy equipment onto a lowboy for transportation, including proper cargo securement and binding. Must have the ability to tarp, chain, and strap your own load
  • Responsible for the safe operation of commercial motor vehicles
  • Responsible for unloading heavy equipment from the lowboy
  • Responsible for hauling heavy equipment to various job sites
  • Responsible for conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Responsible for making sure the load is clean and secure before transporting
  • Responsible for ensuring that the equipment being transported complies with DOT regulations

Qualifications:
  • This position requires a valid Commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a clean driving record
  • Must have three years of Class A CDL driving experience
  • Must have Experience Hauling Wide loads
  • Be Able To Read And Follow Permits for oversized loads
  • Must be familiar with the operation and how to fix minor maintenance issues on various types of heavy equipment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform stooping, bending, kneeling, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, and climbing
  • Must be able to speak English well enough to communicate with customers, pilot cars, etc.
