To thrive as a CDL Driver Apprentice, you need a clean driving record, a basic understanding of road safety regulations, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically, you will use commercial vehicles under supervision and work toward earning a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) through structured training and certified instruction. Demonstrating a strong work ethic and safe driving record is key to moving up within the transportation industry.
