Position Overview
The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational support for field crews.
This role is essential to maintaining project schedules, supporting safe work zones, and ensuring vehicle reliability across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Logistics
  • Safely load, transport, and unload materials and equipment to job sites
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured and compliant with DOT regulations and weight limits
  • Coordinate with supervisors and crews to support efficient routing and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, including quantities, locations, and delivery times

Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
  • Maintain safe work zones and support crew and public safety
  • Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and responsible manner

Vehicle Maintenance & Inspections
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
  • Maintain proper fuel, fluid levels, and tire conditions
  • Report mechanical issues promptly and complete required documentation
  • Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and compliant with company standards

Field Support
  • Assist field crews with basic site preparation, traffic control, and equipment support
  • Adapt to changing job site conditions and contribute to team productivity
  • Maintain professionalism, reliability, and accountability in all duties
