Job Summary:

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles and trailers to transport materials between various locations. This role plays a key part in maintaining an efficient and organized yard, while also supporting vehicle cleanliness, fueling, and inspections. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role. Additional duties may be assigned as needed by executive management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maneuver vehicles and containers around the facility and off-site locations
  • Identify appropriate placement for vehicles and containers
  • Assist other CDL drivers as needed to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Clean and refuel vehicles and trailers as required
  • Inspect vehicles to identify maintenance needs and report issues
  • Maintain safety, order, and clear communication within the yard and with team members

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current CDL Class A license required
  • Completion of CDL training program
  • 6 months of CDL driving experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills preferred
  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Completion of an accredited CDL training program
  • Minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience preferred
  • Ability to safely maneuver vehicles and containers in tight spaces
  • Must be able to conduct vehicle inspections and identify basic maintenance issues
