Are you an experienced CDL Class A driver looking for a stable, local driving opportunity where you can be home daily?
Goodwill Columbus is seeking a dependable CDL A Truck Driver to support our mission by transporting donated goods between our donation centers, retail stores, and warehouse locations throughout Central Ohio. This is a local route position with consistent schedules, mostly no-touch freight, and the opportunity to play a direct role in helping individuals in our community achieve independence through work.

What You'll Do
As a CDL A Truck Driver, you'll safely transport donated goods and materials between Goodwill locations while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Drive tractor-trailers between donation centers, retail stores, warehouses, and program locations
  • Transport donated items and salvage materials throughout Central Ohio
  • Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with logistics team members regarding route updates and delivery status
  • Conduct required vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain delivery documentation and required records
  • Perform other transportation-related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A License
  • Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience
  • Experience operating manual transmission (stick shift) trucks
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a road test
  • Safe driving record with fewer than six (6) points on license
  • Ability to meet DOT requirements and work safely in a transportation environment
