CDL Class C jobs refer to positions that require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) of Class C. These jobs typically involve driving vehicles designed to transport 16 or more passengers (including the driver) or hazardous materials in quantities requiring placarding, but not large trucks or buses covered by Class A or B licenses. Common examples include shuttle bus drivers, small passenger van drivers, and hazardous materials delivery drivers. Employers may require additional endorsements depending on the specific cargo or passengers transported.

To thrive as a CDL Class C driver, you need a valid CDL Class C license, a clean driving record, and knowledge of road safety regulations. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and basic vehicle maintenance procedures is typically required. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills help drivers excel in this role. These qualifications and skills are crucial for ensuring safety, reliability, and efficient delivery of passengers or goods.
