Job description

Class C CDL Driver

Tri-City Group is currently looking for a Class C CDL Driver to join our team in Davenport, IA! This position is responsible for completing local routes, loading/unloading cargo, and complying with federal DOT safety regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive commercial vehicles to and from designated locations materials, and/or equipment while keeping documentation of transport details.
  • Follows safe operating procedures based on vehicle/load requirements and proper tie-down procedures checked off prior to transport.
  • Basic warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, basic fork truck usage

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Valid CDL - Class C license and reliable transportation
  • Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
  • Ability to safely drive various vehicles
  • Clean Driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50–80 lbs and perform frequent bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Steel-toe/composite toe boots

Physical Requirements:

  • Demonstrate auditory and visual acuity/tracking/inspection
  • Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent on-the-job accidents and injuries
  • Ability to lift, move, push, or pull up to 75 pounds regularly
