Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving profitability, ensuring high-levels of Guest satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team of technicians.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the service department, including workflow, scheduling, and productivity
  • Lead, coach, and develop service technicians and support Team
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics (labor sales, effective labor rate, hours per RO, guest satisfaction scores, etc.)
  • Ensure exceptional Guest experiences and handle escalated Guest concerns
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and warranty requirements
  • Control expenses, manage departmental budget, and drive profitability
  • Work closely with sales departments to maximize overall dealership performance
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an automotive dealership service department
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proven track record of driving service department performance and profitability
  • Excellent communication and Guest service skills
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (CDK, etc.)
  • OEM experience preferred

This position is paid on a commission/incentive-based Pay Plan. $60-$85k+/year (commission based). The compensation is comprised of a Base Draw and incentives for key metrics including Guest Service scores, net income, and gross profit. There is no limit or cap on the incentive amounts!
