About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated Outpatient Clinical Dietitian to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our clinical team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The majority of your work will be done in individual (one-on-one) Medical Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes Education appointments; work will be done in patient group settings when needed.

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with Saratoga Hospital values
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support health, healing, and service excellence
  • Perform clinical responsibilities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Use hospital systems and tools to document care and support operations
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and support patient and staff satisfaction
  • Serve as a positive, professional representative of our hospital and community

What You Bring
  • A Bachelor's or Masters of Science degree in Dietetics or Foods & Nutrition (required)
  • Board Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) is highly preferred
  • Experience in an outpatient setting providing effective nutrition and diabetes education services to individuals and groups preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to providing patient-first, high-quality service
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

General pre-employment requirements: Registration with The Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD); Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) with New York State Department of Education; Medicare Provider Number and credentialing through CAQH. Must hold valid NYS driver's license.
