Job description

Our team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor (CDCA/LCDC) to join our team of professionals committed to providing quality care and support to individuals in recovery. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those struggling with addiction.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual and group counseling services, complete accurate and timely documentation, and participate in treatment planning and case coordination. The ideal candidate will hold at least a CDCA, with LCDC preferred, and be committed to providing quality care and support to individuals in recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and/or group counseling services to clients

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of all services provided

  • Participate in treatment planning and case coordination

  • Maintain compliance with state and agency regulations

  • Collaborate with case managers, drivers, and other staff as needed

  • Active CDCA required (LCDC preferred) in the state of Ohio

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills

  • Willingness to complete requirements to become a Certified Case Manager (if not already certified)

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
