As a CCU Operator, your day-to-day duties will include monitoring and adjusting control panels, interpreting process data, and troubleshooting equipment issues to ensure safe, continuous plant operations. You will be responsible for starting and stopping equipment, performing routine inspections, and keeping detailed logs of process changes. Collaboration is common, as you’ll coordinate with maintenance teams, engineers, and sometimes external contractors to address operational concerns. Operators often work in shifts, including nights and weekends, given the 24/7 nature of these facilities. This position is foundational to plant performance and offers opportunities for advancement into supervisory or technical specialist roles.
