About the Community:
Buckley Towers is a professionally managed residential community consisting of two 16-story towers with 324 condominium units. The property features controlled access points, residential amenities, parking facilities, and common areas requiring professional security coverage.

Available Positions & Shifts:
Front Desk Security Officer:
  • 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM - Saturday- Wednesday

Full-Time Positions Available:
Applicants must be flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as required by operational needs.

Position Summary:
Security Officers are responsible for protecting residents, guests, employees, and property by providing professional security services through access control, customer service, patrol operations, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and emergency response.
Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills, maintain a professional appearance, demonstrate sound judgment, and consistently provide outstanding customer service while enforcing community policies.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Access Control:
  • Monitor resident and visitor entrances.
  • Verify visitor authorization before granting access.
  • Enforce community access policies and procedures.
  • Greet residents, guests, vendors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.

Patrol Operations:
  • Conduct routine foot patrols throughout the property.
  • Perform Golf Cart patrols of parking lots and common areas (Rover positions).
  • Monitor garages, parking areas, amenities, and building exteriors.
  • Identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
  • Report maintenance issues and security incidents promptly.
  • Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.

CCTV Monitoring:
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and access control systems.
  • Observe, document, and report unusual activity.
  • Assist management with investigations when requested.

Documentation & Reporting:
  • Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs).
  • Prepare detailed incident and accident reports.
  • Maintain accurate shift logs.
  • Utilize computers, email, and electronic reporting systems.

Emergency Response:
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other incidents.
  • Follow established emergency response procedures.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, fire rescue, and emergency personnel when necessary.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure during emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must possess:
  • Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License (Required).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required.
  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
  • Previous security experience (Preferred).
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Failure to meet attendance, performance, or conduct expectations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
