Job description

This full-time, in-person role based in data centers involves installing and maintaining cable and security systems with a focus on residential security projects. Candidates at all levels, from cable pullers to foremen, are sought to join a team specializing in access control installations including mag locks, door strikes, card readers, CCTV, and motion detectors.


Responsibilities

  • Lead installation, programming, and maintenance of access control systems (card readers, keypads, biometric devices)
  • Supervise and support field technicians, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and system designs for accurate implementation
  • Configure and troubleshoot hardware and software for door controllers, panels, and networked devices
  • Install security hardware including mag locks, door strikes, CCTV cameras, and motion detectors
  • Manage cable pulling and installation tasks in residential security system projects


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with access control systems installation and maintenance
  • Previous Data Center work experience
