Cybersecurity ISSM/ISSO knowledge is highly desired. What you will do... Experience with designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining WAN/LAN networks, to include the associated, encryption, firewalls, routers, switches Knowledge of network configuration and support for Real-Time simulation systems Ability to evaluate IT environments and identify security goals, vulnerabilities, objectives, and requirements.

Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified ISs and data using Air Force approved network engineering practices, information security standards, approved industry best practices, and by employing approved new technologies Experience troubleshooting network hardware including but not limited to switches, routers, boundary protection, Cross-Domain Solutions, Data Diodes and various other network managed devices Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Windows Hyper-V Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.

Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) Ability to maintain DoD 8570 certifications in the following environments: CCNA, CCNP Route/Switch, CCNP-Voice, CCNP-Security, Network+, Security+ (ALL or SOME of these desired) Skills you will need... Must hold an active DoD Top Secret Clearance or a Secret clearance with a completed SSBI within the last 6 years. A minimum of 3 years' experience in Network engineering/administration, data warehousing, & secured Data transmission with a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or closely related field is required.
