Job Summary:
UST is a mission-driven company that transforms lives through technology. They are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to design, manage, and support enterprise network infrastructure across various environments, ensuring network availability, security, scalability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and data center network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure maximum uptime.
• Implement network security policies, access controls, segmentation, and firewall rules.
• Manage network upgrades, firmware updates, patching, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.
• Support routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and QoS.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal IT teams for incident resolution and project execution.
• Maintain network monitoring, ing, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong experience in enterprise network administration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, or equivalent networking technologies.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and network security.
• Experience with firewall management, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access solutions.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Wireshark.
• Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and enterprise Wi-Fi deployments.
• Experience with cloud networking concepts in Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in network administration and enterprise infrastructure support.
Preferred:
• Experience with SD-WAN, network automation, and scripting tools such as Python or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and cybersecurity best practices.
• Exposure to data center operations and structured cabling standards.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise change management procedures.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Palo Alto PCCSA/PCNSA, or equivalent are preferred.
