The Opportunity:
We are building the next generation of cloud-native infrastructure to build a system that will have a positive impact on the intelligence community (IC). We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. If you have a passion for automation, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes, and you're excited to use the latest open-source tools, this is the role for you.
As an experienced Infrastructure Cloud engineer on our team, you will use your development experience to build, deploy, and manage a cloud agnostic platform for a multi-tenant environment. You will collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless operation and deployment of cloud-native applications. You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure engineering
  • Experience in Kubernetes architecture, deployment, management, container orchestration, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems in the Cloud
  • Experience with automation tools
  • Knowledge of AWS services and how to integrate them with Kubernetes
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with scripting or object-oriented programming in Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm for Kubernetes, or Terragrunt
  • Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Rancher, and RKE2
  • Experience using or managing ArgoCD, Grafana, ElasticSearch, and Prometheus
  • Experience with Pulumi or Crossplane
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer Certification
  • Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
