Job description

Description
Our growing family law practice is seeking a skilled Family Law Paralegal to join our team. As the firm manages a busy caseload, we need an experienced, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic and team-oriented environment. This role is primarily remote but requires in-office presence at various times, so I reside in Colorado. Must be reliable, accountable, and a self-starter.
Compensation- $60,000 + dependent on experience and discretionary bonuses

Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate docketing of all case deadlines, filings, and court dates.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, financial disclosures, discovery responses, subpoenas, and witness disclosures.
• File documents electronically using the Colorado Courts E-Filing system (CCEF).
• Ensure case files are organized and compliant with court and firm procedures.
• Coordinate and schedule mediations, hearings, and client meetings.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with attorneys, clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with trial preparation, including creating and organizing exhibits and trial notebooks.
• Utilize Adobe Acrobat for document preparation, including creating and editing PDFs.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of family law paralegal experience preferred, including familiarity with Colorado family law rules and procedures.
• Strong organizational and docketing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• A positive and professional attitude.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management.
• Skilled in using CCEF, Microsoft Office Suite, and case management software; experience with Clio is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
• Flexibility to work in the office as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal program or equivalent experience.
