Job description

Speech-Language Pathologist

We're hiring Speech-Language Pathologists to work in homes, daycares, ABA centers, and our clinic in Cary, NC. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for CCC-SLPs.

Setting: Homes, Daycares, ABA Centers

Locations available for service: Raleigh, Fuquay Varina, Holly Springs, Johnston County, Sanford, Durham

Therapy Tree Services is an interactive, play-based speech, language, feeding, and literacy therapy company that allows children to explore, develop, and succeed to their greatest abilities. By integrating evidence-based practices with a family-centered focus, Therapy Tree Services helps families and children grow to reach their highest potential.

We offer a pleasant, encouraging, and supportive work environment. We have a collaborative team of experienced therapists who are happy to share knowledge, tips, and therapy tricks. Our administrative team is incredibly supportive and friendly, assisting with all tasks outside of therapy and evaluations. Our therapists enjoy a healthy work/life balance, and it is one of our key principles. We allow you the flexibility to set your own schedule, caseload, and service areas. We value our therapists' time and expertise, and your main responsibilities will include scheduling visits, evaluation/treatment sessions, and minimal documentation.

Requirements

  • CF-SLPs: Must be on track to earn a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • CCC-SLPs: Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC-SLP certification, and be eligible for North Carolina licensure.
  • All therapists must adhere to professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
  • A passion for working with diverse socioeconomic populations.
  • The ability to implement therapy using a coaching model approach with parent education is critical to the success of therapy outcomes. No toy bags are permitted when working with children in the CDSA. We work with families in their natural environments, coaching parents and caregivers with strategies to implement during routines.
  • Full-time caseloads build gradually over time. Typically, therapists are comfortable with caseloads within 2-4 months (unless inheriting a caseload upon hire).
  • Therapy Tree therapists should possess a desire to work with children and families. Pediatrics is a field that requires compassion and commitment.
  • Ability to work independently, while appreciating the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team of therapists.
  • Therapists are responsible for maintaining promptness to all visits, as well as communication with all members of a child's care team when there is a change in schedule. Having independent practitioners is critical to the success of our model.

Benefits & Perks

  • Manage your own caseload and set service area limits
  • Competitive per-session rates with flexible scheduling
  • Digital evaluation assessments and protocols provided
  • Administrative support including management of referrals, paperwork, doctor's orders, and billing.
  • User friendly EHR system that simplifies the time spent completing paperwork
  • Excellent benefits including health, dental, 401K, short-term disability, CEU stipend, mileage reimbursement, reimbursement toward licensure, and professional liability insurance
  • Specialization in providing bilingual therapy and pediatric feeding therapy
  • Excellent reputation in the community and strong referral base
