Pharmacist

Job Summary: The Pharmacist position offers exceptional customer service to all patients and provides consultations to better understand patients' medical cannabis needs. As a Pharmacist you will be the product expert on-site and must provide a positive and customer centric experience for all patients. This role is expected to spend 20% of their time focused on inventory related activities and are held responsible for engaging in the activity of and maintaining accurate records for inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Check patient certifications via the online portal
  • Review patient's physician recommendations and dispense medical cannabis medication
  • Provide individualized patient consultations to determine the best program alongside the physician's recommendation
  • Maintain control of the inventory and rotates the medicine as needed
  • Review and submit the prescription state monitoring program
  • Record the removal of damaged and outdated medicine (Greenwaste)
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Work closely with the Management staff to ensure accurate inventory logs
  • Support leadership during any schedule or unscheduled audits when necessary
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD. (Licensed without restrictions)
  • 2 -5 years' experience
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Eager to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members and the general public
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail experience mandatory (Experience at a Walgreens, CVS, etc. is a plus)
  • Satisfactory completion of any State required Medical Cannabis education programs
Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 20 lb. Able to stand up to 90% of the time. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include hearing in the normal audio range with or without correction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
