Job description

Center for Bone & Joint Surgery of the Palm Beaches is a multi-location medical practice devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and diseases of the body's musculoskeletal system. Our locations feature a staff of highly trained orthopedic surgeons, each with a specific area of expertise.
Center for Bone & Joint Surgery offers a team approach to your care and provides a variety of services right on campus designed for your convenience and ensuring an outstanding continuum of care. These include on-site X-ray, on-site MRI, on-site physical therapy, and aquatic therapy.
As Center for Bone & Joint Surgery continues to grow, we are seeking a Radiologic Technologist- Every other Monday
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
โ€ข Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.
โ€ข Processes room add-on cases prior to scheduled cases.
โ€ข Uses equipment in compliance to all safety requirements.
โ€ข Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
โ€ข Reports any patient complaints or concerns to the Chief Technologist.
โ€ข Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees and other departments.
โ€ข Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
โ€ข Maintains patient confidentiality.
โ€ข Attends required department staff meetings.
โ€ข The job holder must demonstrate current competencies for job position.
EDUCATION
โ€ข Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.
