Residential Counselor
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare organization offering a full continuum of care, including variety of programs throughout Arizona, Oklahoma and District of Columbia. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Job Summary
The Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) Residential Counselor is responsible for delivering therapeutic and treatment planning services to CBI Residential Patients. Residential Counselor is responsible for facilitating group counseling utilizing approved CBI Curriculum and schedule. Residential Counselor will facilitate individual sessions with each patient on a regular basis. Each are below defined by the specific function as it relates to the policy, process, and the governing rules set forth by the Department of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS), Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
Skills/Requirements
  • Master's Degree in related field
  • Leadership experience
  • 2 years related experience in behavioral healthcare, physical health, or substance abuse.
  • Associate or Independently Licensed Professional with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Substance Abuse Counselor
