Job description

About the role: The Day Porter position is located onsite in Bridgman, MI. This will be a short-term contract role starting mid-September. It will last till about mid-October. You will be part of a team that keeps the facility clean. You will report to the Utility Supervisor. The work schedule does include OT.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Removal of dirt and dust from floor area and connecting rooms, ramps and walkways using standard cleaning techniques.
  • Dispose of all liquid cleaning solutions per Client's direction.
  • Pull trash and replace liners.
  • Ensure that you clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets and sinks.
  • Disinfect high touch service areas and refill disinfectant dispensers
  • Provide facility users a healthy environment by using appropriate cleaning methods and products.
  • Protect everyone's safety by using properly labeled chemicals, warning others of hazards e.g. appropriate use of wet floor signs and reporting safety concerns.
  • Follow company and site regulations, procedures, safety standards and expectations.

  • High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
  • Must be age 18 or older
