Put your career in motion with a great, new opportunity. Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as a Security Officer with a state-operated psychiatric hospital providing critical inpatient care and safety services for civil, forensic, and community populations.

? Shift: 2:00PM – 10 PM (40 hours/week)
? Employment Type: Contract (4 months, potential extension or conversion)
? Work Setup: Onsite, hospital environment

?? What’s a typical day as a Security Officer? You will:

Conduct daily security rounds and monitor ingress/egress across hospital facilities and campus areas.

Respond to emergencies, codes, drills, and safety incidents as needed.

Perform building and campus safety inspections to ensure a secure environment.

Rotate through various security posts or serve as a campus rover.

Assist staff during patient interventions and help de-escalate conflict situations.

Support Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) practices and provide feedback to supervisors.

Monitor surveillance systems, operate communication equipment, and document incidents.

Assist with vehicle and radio maintenance, inspections, and related documentation.

Provide customer service to patients, staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.
