Additionally, we provide service programs that include comprehensive solutions to drive clients’ projects to completion.

Our mission is to make research possible. That starts by employing a talented and highly qualified group of experts that develop the tools to support research scientists. 

Currently, we are looking to add a Chemical Handling Specialist to the team:

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for weighing, aliquoting, maintaining inventory, and entering newly processed inventory 
  • Ensure quality control level of products according to Cayman’s standards
  • Entry of necessary data into database system in a timely fashion
  • General upkeep of the work area and maintenance of equipment
  • Report status of work to supervisor regularly
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, plans, and procedures including safety, security, and regulatory
  • Assist in other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, biology, or related field preferred 
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ability to learn an ERP system
  • Ability to sit in one spot for long periods of time
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, be organized, and pay attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently
  • Availability to work on-site in Ann Arbor
