Job description

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You’ll be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years of IR Tech experience with references
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Graduate from AMA approved accredited Radiologic Technologist programs
  • BLS certification
  • State license
  • 3 years of Interventional Radiology Tech experience
  • ARRT R certification
  • Kansas License (LRT)
  • Experience with Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, PACS, and stocking supplies
  • Experience with aortography, chest tube placement, embolization, gastrostomy tube placement, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement and removal, inferior vena cavagram, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, paracentesis, pelvic angiography, percutaneous hepatic angiography, pulmonary arteriography, radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of the liver, renal angiography, selective visceral angiography, stent placement, angiography of the genitourinary system, catheter and drain exchange, internal and external biliary drainage, nephrostomy, renal artery stent placement, ureteral stent placement, uterine arterial embolization, vertebroplasty, central venous access and port placement, and upper and lower extremity angiography
